Studied piano for many years and minored in music at Columbia International University.

West 2 Productions, Columbia, SC - varied involvement including writing, creative consultation, marketing and sales, advertising, human resource recruitment, public relations, and special event staffing. Co-wrote screenplay for The Lord of the Ring: The Fellows and the Ring; feature length parody, 2003. Contributions to package design for DVD releases. 1998-2003: Kmart Corporation, Salem, VA. Started as frontend checkout associate, promoted to pharmacy department, earned certification as Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPht). Also worked in electronics and sporting goods departments on occasion.

2004: Pastorial duties, Wildhurst Presbyterian Church, Roanoke, VA.
Preaching, teaching, and visitation.

2002-2004: Counselor/Discipleship Partner/Bible Teacher, Ben Lippen Middle School, Columbia, SC.
Met with troubled students one-on-one for these purposes; commended by principal of school for improvements in students' overall behavior.

2003: Pastoral Intern, Wildhurst Presbyterian Church, Roanoke, VA.
Performed general pastoral duties such as preaching, teaching, and visitation. Received commendation from Senior Pastor and elders as well as from overseeing school professor.

2001-2002: Volunteer Bible Teacher, Department of Juvenile Justice, Columbia, SC.
Met with small groups of DJJ inmates for Bible study.

2001: Evangelism worker, Fortress Coffee House, Fort Jackson, SC.
Served as a counselor at outreach events for soldiers by Cadence International.
